Wandering Monster is proud to announce that it’s running adventures in the Sellwood Neighborhood thanks to the good folks of Cloud Cap Games! Located at 1226 SE Lexington St. Portland OR, 97202, Cloud Cap games and Puzzles is a wonderful locally owned shop that’s been providing quality board games, puzzles and collectible cards for over a decade.

For the month of November, we’ll be showcasing the following RPG’s: The Strangelight Workshop, Electric Bastionland, Land of Eem and Mythic Bastionland completely free!  Below you’ll find a quick glimpse into what each one is about! 

Land of Eem: Adventure and mystery await you in the whimsical world of Eem! The realm is vast, from the fey-touched fields of the Drippy Downs to the mushroom clogged wetlands of the Quagmash. Between greedy tycoons and dark, ancient powers, the world needs heroes now more than ever! So don your cook-pot helmet, tune your lute, hitch up your backpack and explore a world full of forgotten dungeons and ancient relics! 

Mythic Bastonland: Seek The Myths, Honor the Seers, Protect the Realm. This is the oath each knight has sworn, as you travel the realm deciphering omens that shed light on the Myths that grow in power and scope across the lands. Become a beacon of hope to the people, or herald the crushing tide of darkness as Myths go unchecked. The Seers know all, save your fate. But the Seers have their own agendas, now don’t they? 

Electric Bastionland: Past, Present and Future collide in the only city that matters as it enters its electric age: Bastion. You and your fellows are down on your luck, you have a failed carrier and are saddled with a massive debt. Now, the only way out is the lucrative but dangerous job of treasure hunting. Explore the oddities found within the unmappable labyrinth of boroughs within Bastion, travel outside its walls in the vast yet insular Deep Country, or go Underground where everything connects and the rules of reality begin to fracture the deeper you go. 

Strangelight Workshop: Ghosts, grymkin, infernals. All more abundant than ever since the world cracked open five years ago and those creatures began to bleed into our reality. Fortunately you’re part of the Strangelight Workshop – an organization that formed an unlikely blend of Investigators, occultists, and ghost punchers. With your cutting edge prototypes you are dedicated to the research, catalogue and removal of these supernatural creatures!

Registration includes:

-Weekly game sessions at Cloud Cap Games.

-Interactive maps, minis and props specific to the adventure

-Access to books, dice, and materials specific to the system.

– One hour of scheduled time outside the session for additional questions or advice. This can be in person or over Zoom
